Mike Klinkner learned early on the value of a good tactical flashlight. Born and raised in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, hunting, fishing, and camping were some of his favorite activities. At first, these activities were exclusively for him and his father, however in his teen years, he began to encourage his friends into taking weekend long excursions with him.
He knew he wanted to be a Navy seal, hence he enlisted in the Navy right out of high school. Mike achieved his goals, attaining many medals throughout his illustrious 20 year career in the military. After retiring,Mike returned to his childhood home to pursue a career as a hunting guide. His life philosophy is “Carpe Diem” or “Seize the Day”, hence he believes in the importance of self-reliance, communing with nature, and grabbing the wonderful opportunities life’s abundance has to offer.
Furthermore, flashlights have always been an integral part of Mike’s life. From his career in the military, to his love of the outdoors. “No matter what an individual is doing, having the best possible light source is always the best means to an end.” Over the years, Mike has watched as tactical flashlight technology has improved and expanded. “These days, an individual can purchase a tiny light and attain a high powered tool. The advances in technology are just illuminating”, Mike boasts.
Mike has experienced first hand the many ways in which the brightest tactical flashlights can enhance an outdoor experience, help you make that shot, even help save an individual’s life. In many ways, having the right light source is the equivalent to having the right weapon. Mike feels that with the current technology and reasonable prices in the industry, that there is no excuse for anyone being left in the dark. Consequently, a tactical flashlight is a tool that everyone should have available, at home, in the car, or on the hunt.
